ABOUT THIS WORKBENCH
A little clarity,
on your bench.
A focused set of tools for the calculations you reach for while designing, measuring and troubleshooting circuits.
Practical tools, visible assumptions
Circuit Desk covers loaded voltage dividers, RC filters and transients, series RLC resonance, ideal op-amp gain, LED resistors, resistor networks and signal power. Each calculator includes its formulas, model assumptions, units and useful derived values. Frequency and time sweeps can be exported as CSV files.
These are analytical calculations with idealized components, not a SPICE simulator. They do not solve arbitrary schematics or account for every real component effect. Check device datasheets, component tolerances, temperature, loading and operating limits before using a result in a design.
Units and precision
Numeric inputs use an explicit unit selector. A value of 10 with kΩ selected means 10,000 ohms. Calculations use SI base units and double-precision arithmetic; most displayed values use four significant digits. CSV exports retain the computed numeric precision. Resistor lists accept plain ohms, m for milli, k for kilo and M for mega.
Preferred E24 values come from the published decade series. They are nominal values, not promises of stocked parts, tolerances or power ratings. Source links appear beside the related tools and in the reference shelf.
Your calculations stay on your device
Calculator inputs are processed in your browser and are not uploaded. The site uses no analytics, advertising scripts, third-party fonts or account system. Opening an external reference sends a normal page request to that publisher; calculator parameters are not included.
“Save setup” stores the setup name and parameters in this browser’s local storage. Setups are not synchronized between devices. You can delete individual setups on the Saved setups page, or clear this site’s browser data to remove them all. Unsaved inputs are discarded when the page is reloaded. Exported files are saved to your device.
Like other websites, the server receives ordinary connection and HTTP request information when you load a page. Saved setups and calculator inputs are not part of those requests.
Keep your work
Save a frequently used circuit in your browser, export a readable result sheet, or download a sweep to compare it with a bench measurement. For an offline record of a calculation, use Export results or your browser’s print-to-PDF function.
